Amaravati Quantum Valley Poised to Put Andhra Pradesh on Global Quantum Technology Map

Amaravati is emerging as a future hub for quantum technologies, with the prestigious Quantum Valley project entering an advanced stage of development ahead of its planned launch next month. The state government has intensified infrastructure works in the capital region, aiming to position Quantum Valley as a magnet for high‑end research, testing, and product development in next‑generation computing.​

To steer the initiative, the government has set up two expert committees comprising 14 eminent specialists who will advise on research priorities, ecosystem building, and international collaborations. Parallelly, allied companies linked to the quantum and deep‑tech sectors have started moving operations or planning facilities in and around Amaravati, signalling early industry confidence in the project.​

In a major boost to global visibility, Finland‑based Quantrol Ox has announced that it will establish a dedicated facility in Quantum Valley for quantum computer component testing, benchmarking, and validation. This facility is expected to support hardware developers worldwide, helping Amaravati integrate into international quantum supply chains and attract further foreign investments.​

Officials and experts believe that once Quantum Valley becomes fully operational, it will significantly transform Amaravati’s economic and innovation landscape. The hub is projected to create high‑skilled employment, encourage advanced research collaborations with global institutions, and help Andhra Pradesh claim a distinct place on the global technology map.​
