Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled an ambitious technology roadmap in a special “Quantum Talk” session, presenting quantum and deep-tech as the next big leap for the state’s development. Speaking to a large audience of tech students in an online interactive format, he stressed that India has a “rare chance” to enter early in quantum technologies and emerge as a global service and knowledge hub.
A major international initiative, NMI-Q, was officially launched by Lord Vallance, UK Minister for Science, Innovation, Research, and Nuclear, at the "Quantum Metrology: From Foundations to the Future" event held on November 3, 2025.
