IQM Quantum Computers Showcases Quantum Talent Pipeline, Expands Global Hiring at Finland TalentMatch 2025

At the Finland TalentMatch x Tech & IT event held on November 4–5, 2025, IQM Quantum Computers spotlighted significant advances in quantum technology and talent development. Galina Leväsluoto, Head of Talent Acquisition at IQM, shared insights on quantum computing fundamentals, current industry applications, and IQM’s rapid growth from startup to a deep-tech scaleup with 320+ employees and 132 PhDs worldwide. The company emphasized its role in building full-stack quantum computers, benefiting fields such as pharmaceutical research, clean energy, and logistics.

IQM’s international hiring efforts, including internships and thesis projects, focus on attracting quantum engineers, hardware/software specialists, and commercial experts. Leväsluoto highlighted unique training resources like the IQM Academy and the upcoming IQM Quantum School (December 2–4, 2025)—open for global online participation—as strategic channels for nurturing new quantum talent.

With exponential job opportunities outpacing qualified candidates, IQM maintains transparent recruitment and welcomes junior applicants, including recent graduates and PhDs. Hybrid and remote work options vary by role, reflecting the hands-on demands of quantum hardware development. The session also underscored strong industry partnerships (e.g., with Nvidia, AWS, and HPE) and a commitment to open-source, international collaboration.
