Quantum Educator Launches 100-Lesson YouTube Syllabus to Demystify Quantum Computing

Dr. K.V.N. Rajesh has launched a first-of-its-kind 100-lesson quantum computing syllabus on YouTube, aiming to make one of the most complex areas of modern science accessible to students, professionals, and curious beginners worldwide. The inaugural episode, released on December 14, 2025, opens with wave–particle duality, explaining how light and matter behave simultaneously as waves and particles, and why this idea underpins all of quantum mechanics and quantum computing.

In the 41-minute opening lecture, Dr. Rajesh walks viewers through diffraction, interference, Young’s double-slit experiment, Max Planck’s quantization of light, photons, de Broglie’s matter waves, and electron diffraction, connecting each concept to real-world technologies such as electron microscopes and semiconductor devices. He emphasizes that atoms remain stable, electrons occupy discrete energy levels, and modern quantum technologies exist precisely because electrons and photons must be treated as quantum waves rather than classical particles.

Positioning the series as a complete, structured syllabus rather than a standalone tutorial, Dr. Rajesh explains that future lessons will systematically progress from quantum mechanics fundamentals to matrix methods, angular momentum, the hydrogen atom, and ultimately to quantum algorithms and hardware. He notes that the course material has been synthesized from multiple books and online references to align with job roles, certifications, and research requirements in quantum computing and related deep-tech domains.

Designed to avoid unnecessary jargon and heavy formalism in the early stages, the series focuses on building strong physical intuition before moving into equations, targeting physics, engineering, and computer science students as well as working professionals preparing for a quantum-ready future. Dr. Rajesh encourages viewers to watch each lesson from start to finish, provide feedback, and submit questions, promising to address common doubts in future videos as he works toward completing the full 100-lecture journey.
